Support for local communities - Highlights

In 2025, we made donations totalling around 3.2 Million euros*, in the form of both monetary and product donations. We primarily offered support in the context of humanitarian emergencies, patient support, scientific research & education and environmental and local community initiatives.

*This figure includes monetary donations and product donations measured at market value. The data also includes awareness-raising activities, support for patient associations and scientific events.

Recordati Group donations by category

In 2025, in addition to donations (monetary and product), many initiatives were run supporting local communities in which the Group operates, through the direct participation of employees in social initiatives.

Local Community Support in Denmark and Sweden

The Danish team visited the “Christmas Stamp Foundation” (Julemærkehjemmet), a charity that funds shelter homes for children with social difficulties. In Sweden, on the other hand, employees backed two organisations committed to the fight against poverty and social exclusion. In particular, some employees took part in a “social supermarket”, which reduces food waste by selling “waste” stock products that are still perfectly fit for consumption, at the same time supporting people in economic hardship through professional training and job opportunities. Other employees instead helped to sift through, price and package donated items on behalf of Stadsmissionen, a non-profit organisation that supports people experiencing homelessness, poverty and social exclusion.

Nature and environmental initiatives

Recordati employees across the world also took part in nature and environmental initiatives: in Spain, they went on an educational walk in the Pyrenees to discover and promote its local fauna; in Finland, they helped to build bird feeders and houses, for the benefit of local biodiversity.

Charity runs

As they do every year, various branches participated in charity runs to raise funds and awareness within the community of different issues. For example, in June, 45 employees took part in the Night Company Run in Warsaw. Together they ran 5 km (3.1 mi) to support the Everest Foundation, helping to fund treatments and rehabilitation for children in need of medical care. Employees also showed their passion for sport at the Polish Mountain Bike Championship for Pharmacists in Bronisławów, completing a 17-km route, in addition to other events such as the Cardio Race and the Strawoman run-walk in Italy.
